Funny you would ask. I just got done a few minutes ago playing around in
Gnome. It works there, so it appears to be a KDE thing.
Another problem with KDE; my screensaver doesn't stay on. For example, if I
set it for a 1 minute delay, it pops on in one minute, goes off in one
minute, comes back on in 1, then off , etc.
Drives me nuts. YUCK.
Xscreensaver is fine.
So, if I go to Gnome, everything is fine.
I'm thinking of removing all KDE packages then reinstalling them. Kind of a
Microsoftish solution, huh?
