I have to semi-agree with Fred. Like I said, Asus is overrated for its 
price. On average, their quality is just about higher than second-tier 
motherboard maker, yet their price is usually at the top.

I have heard of Tyan, I thought they make server motherboards only. If 
they do, no wonder their quality is really good. Server motherboards are 
made for stability. I still have my SuperMicro + P3-450 computer running 
along. The CPU, memory, and power supply for that computer has been 
changed, but the motherboard stay. The stability puzzled me until I 
found out that Supermicro produce server motherboards too.
