Should they move it out of the "theory" catagory then?

Creationism has trouble in science because it cannot be based in
experimentation or observation. It cannot be disproven, nor can
evolution or the big bang be proven.

It can belong in the history or philosophy departments, but you cannot
dig up "let there be light."
