[CS-FSLUG] Opinions Needed - Dell Latitude C600

I can get a Dell Latitude C600 for $400 (for our ministry).  It's a
1GHz Pentium with 20GB HDD/256MB RAM, and a CD-ROM drive.  No OS,
which is perfect for me, anyway.  Magazine reviews I've seen suggest
it's a decent laptop.  One purchaser review says the battery has a
short lifespan, contrary to the reviews.  Could be a bad battery for
that system.  Any input gang?
