It's a little difficult to condemn or approve a manufacturer's entire
list of PCs, but I figured that I would mention that one of the first
PCs that I experimented with Linux on was of the eMachines brand.  It
worked well, although I'm not quite sure how well their present-day
machines will handle most distros.
