The way to start is to list all the commands you would do if you did it
by hand. Then you create a loop. I bet you can do it.

Subject: [CS-FSLUG] Need bash script

Hi everyone, I need a bash script, it's been a long time since I've
used bash and I never got that far into it anyway.

I need a script which will move all the files from /mnt/cdrom to
/home/nathan/cdback and then compare md5sums of the original files to
the copied files. Any files that don't have matching md5sums should be
moved to /home/nathan/cdback/badmd5 replacing any already in there
with an identical name, then a new copy of the file should be taken
from the cd and compared.

Alternatively if someone could tell me how to execute a program with
C++ and get it's output that would be brilliant, I've considered that
before but the only option I could think of was with piping and that
would take a very long time compared to a script.

BTW. dd and md5sum both complained that the disk was bad, so I guess
it wasn't Microsoft after all (maybe). I figure if I can rip the audio
tracks and get the files off the CD, then burn a new one as a mixed
mode Cd with the audio tracks in order, it will be indistinguishable
from the original CD to the computer.
