I checked the wording from Orthodox Jewish Bible (pages are available online
here: http://www.afii.org/english.htm ):
"They have dealt treacherously against Hashem; for they have begotten banim
zarim (strange, illegitimate children); now shall a [Rosh] Chodesh devour
them with their fields." (OJB p. 540)
Rosh Chodesh = New Moon (OJB p.1153)
According to finnish translation the "New Moon" was some kind of feast they
used to have.
