"... It is my firm belief that when we stand before Jesus Christ, we will find
that it has been the weakness and accommodation of the evangelical group on
the issues of the day that has been largely responsible for the Christian
ethos which has taken place in the area of culture in our own country over
the last forty to sixty years. ..."

written prophetically in 1984]

Stand against pornography personally first and then tell others of the great
need to "pursue holiness without which no man shall see the Lord" [Hebrews
12:14]

Pornography Awareness Week - October 31 - November 7, 2004

We join other ministry friends in telling others that the last week in October
has been designated as Pornography Awareness Week.
[We will be saying more about this in the days ahead].

In the 80's and 90's great energy and resources were expended by many
ministries to urge people to guard their hearts and to stand personally and
publicly against pornography.

One of the greatest needs is for pastors (who seldom to never say anything
about it) to speak boldly and lovingly on this important topic. God's people
are being destroyed for lack of conviction on this point. [Encourage your
pastor to speak on this important subject.]

In regard to pornography, how many men - young and old - struggle with
pornography, lust, addiction, unholiness, and seldom
to never hear from their local church, the pastor, preach what God says
specifically - not generally and in passing - what God has to say about
pornography.

And how are you doing?

1. How are you doing regarding “Placing no evil thing before your eyes”
and/or that of your family [Psalm 101:3a]?
2. Recommit today to reestablish a standard that is righteous for your
household. “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord”. [Joshua
24:15]
3. Begin to recognize the importance of having discernment in your life. í¯¿
íº“Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from all forms of evil.”
[I Thessalonians 5:21, 22]
4. Desire righteousness. “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for
righteousness, For they shall be filled.” [Matthew 5: 6]
5. Be willing to take a stand for decency and righteousness -- in the
workplace, in your church and community even if you may be mocked. Blessed
are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, For theirs is the
kingdom of Heaven. [Matthew 5:10]
6. Stand up for community standards. You are the salt of the earth; but if
the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? [Matthew 5:13]

Take the below information seriously - please:

*** A SAFE INTERNET ALTERNATIVE FOR YOUR FAMILY
Millions of pornographic websites are open to everyone ... 80% of e-mail is
spam or worse! Does your Internet service provider (ISP) care about you or
your family? Are you paying for Internet service that helps sponsor
destructive and immoral behavior? You are if you use AOL, MSN, or Earthlink!
For information on an ISP designed to protect the entire family, go to
http://www.afo.net -- it's not too late to switch!
