Excellent! Praise the Lord.

Your wireless is 11Mbps, the 802.11b standard. So that is as fast as it will
ever go. 802.11g will go up to 52Mbps. One of the reasons the wireless often
does not attain it's potential (or advertised) speeds, is because wise people
use encryption on their connections. The encryption adds overhead, both to the
WAP and to the computer, and that usually has the slowing-down effect.

You may be able to decrease your encryption strength to 40bit instead of
128bit. Mostly for a home network you do not have to be horrendously paranoid
about someone breaking into your network. It is usually not worth the trouble
to go to for an individual. But you should have some encryption to keep just
anyone from using your WAP.

So you might be able to speed it up some, but if you want much higher speeds,
you will need to buy 802.11g equipment.
