Good, now try to run apps compiled for FreeBSD.

Actually none of the ppp-related stuff will work without major tweaking. 
As it is Kppp is just barely useful on FreeBSD, even with all the 
tweaks. It runs on the ppp interface. The 'userland ppp' scripts work 
far better, and run on the tun (tunnel) interface.
