[CS-FSLUG] The Fast-Food Syndrome: The Linux Platform is Getting Fat

I make very sure to say in one of my posts on the topic that I knew the 
problem was not the kernel, everything in Linux is GNU, I don't know much of 
anything about BSD but I was assuming it didn't use GNU tools (or not as 
many) as Linux and therefore the program performance _might_ be better.
