My eldest daughter uses Linux and OOo for all her school work but has
yet to need nikud (the dots under Hebrew letters giving vowel
pronunciations) so I can't really help on this except to say that
Shoshannah Forbes knows her stuff and has compiled a book in Hebrew for
users of [Hebrew] OOo.
