This might take you by surprise, but it really doesn't make too much of
a difference to me! I view the politics as another entertainment source
like opera, literature, comedy, or art. It is probably closer to TV in
appeal to the masses... The legality aspect just adds a bit of "drama"
to the "play". What makes politics such an addictive art form is the
chance that your actions might create some danger! It is like being a
Formula 1 driver or a Fighter Pilot. Some of us want to live on the
edge, and every so often we Yanks get together and go off the deep end.
So far this is shaping up to be quite entertaining... nothing but
incompetents and/or buffoons at the top. The Pres is so "cool" he
doesn't "get it" nor does he care, and the the VP can't keep his foot
out of his mouth. What can you say for Congress?? I think the Speaker
of the House had passed the point of no return on face-lifts and Botox
treatments which have made her increasingly addled and shrill. The
Senate had to compromise on a punch-drunk ex pugilist who should have
worn a head guard more during his fighting days, and the Republican
Majority leader just found out that his life-long love affair with a
tanning bed was a bad idea... Pure Entertainment!
For some reason my ISP's EMail servers have identified traffic from this
list as "SPAM" and have blocked delivery. I have began the process of
retraining it, but if I don't answer for a while, it is because I
haven't made my weekly sweep by their Spam folder. I use pop3 here most
of the time, and I only see that folder when I sign onto their webmail
account.
Cheers,

I say all this with just a bit of tongue-in-cheek...
