Shades of Microsoft Windows and the integrated browser :-)

Of all the things Microsoft has done that I think are bad for PCs in general, 
bad for computing, and possibly in the long run bad for MS, the integrated 
browser wasn't one (of course, though they argued in court that they couldn't 
separate the browser from the OS, it was never actually true).

I for one have no problem with a system that puts the whole desktop inside a 
browser, just so long as I can get to a terminal window (which might as well 
be inside the browser, too).
