It's not an offending thread. It's a good one.

Depends on if you ask one the Republican, Bush Administration-supporting, Big Oil loving, anti-biofuels people on this list, or ask somebody who actually knows something about the issue.

LOL! Too many people have never mastered the art of heated debate without resorting to personal attacks. So far I've learned that people on this list have problems with:
a.. me having too many guns
b.. me having too many vehicles
c.. my wife collecting sports cars
d.. my wife having registered horses
e.. our boat goes too fast
f.. we catch too damn many fish
g.. what will they think of next?
And all this in a Biofuels thread! It's like, JFC, you'd better not offer much of an opinion on ANYTHING, much less back it up, because somebody will take it personal. The one and only reason I came to this list was to check out the new "home" that Tim had set up for my TechTalk refugees that I've known for years. But I don't belong here because I'm too much of a maverick and there's too many people here who can't handle that without getting all bent. I have little time for discussions of cameras, computer problems, whose email client behaves properly and whose doesn't, debating the awesome advantages of plain text email, and so on. I have bigger fish to catch.

Hope Tim's Café list works out for everybody, but it's time for me to move on.
