I got the Pentax Optio 50 for three years.
There are smaller ones available now, but that's not so important as long as
it fits into one of the three pockets on the back of the cycling jersey.

Two weeks ago, when I was travelling across France, the Optio 50 died after
too many misuse (I fell on it twice and it also fell down a couple of times,
my bad).
Luckily I got a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS 60 in the next larger supermarket on
the way for just 80.- Euros, which is a really fair price.

A yet smaller one would be 'nice to have', no doubt :-)

But the most important things (for me) are ease of use, and compatibility with
AA batteries and SD cards because those are the most common standards.
So you can charge your batteries anywhere, or buy new ones anywhere, and more
or less anyone can view your photos on the computer.
