trying again, per tim.

one note, btw, re. using old 35mm lenses on new digital cameras with 
sensors smaller than the 35mm frame: they'll be sharper than they were on 
the 35. why? because where a lens has softness, it's usually at the 
corners. but the small digital sensors take only the central part of the 
circle projected by the lens, so the soft corners don't make it into the 
picture!

now here's that picture. which isn't all that great -- just felt like 
sending it because i'd taken it about a minute before.
