You can't have it both ways.  We've all been poaching athletes from other, 
poorer, countries for decades, and never questioned their right to dual 
citizenship.  As far as this athlete is concerned, the biggest obstacle to 
her decision to play for Russia was probably that once she's done that, she 
can't play for the US Olympic team next Olympics, even if she qualifies.
